gender dysphoria
affirmative care is very important in treating gender dysphoria but i do think there should be therapeutic guidance on how to accept how you look as well. plenty of people feel like shit because they find themselves "ugly," and plenty of people are "ugly" and don't feel like shit. therapy should be able to help you feel happy even if your genetics don't treat you nicely
like, i do still struggle with gender dysphoria, but a lot of it is around things just feeling bad and wrong. i think this is the point that non-hormonal therapy can get you to, and it's definitely a lot better than the point many others are at where they feel like shit because they're "ugly" (or because they perceive themselves as "ugly")
anyways make gender-affirming care free and make therapy free
